I bought these to take the dog out for a walk in the cold mornings, and to run the kids to school during fall. I normally wear a 7.5-8 in closed-toe shoes/heels/boots and bought these in a 7 and they fit well. I wear socks that aren’t too thick, and the boots keep my feet nice and warm, and do not slip at the heel. I tried them a size smaller in a store and my toes just touched the end, which wasn’t bad, but there were toe “bumps” showing through the sweater material, thus the reason I got a 7. Upon wearing these to the school, other mom’s asked about them and two showed up wearing em the other morning
